The Role

We are hiring for: Head of Commercial / Commercial Lead (Senior)

Location & Work Pattern

  • Location: Hybrid & 2-3 Days Per week in Leeds Office or Manchester with regular travel to Leeds (2-3 Days Per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end commercial lifecycles within large-scale, complex Public Sector programmes, ensuring strict adherence to HMT Green Book business cases and high-assurance governance frameworks.

  • Drive procurement strategies and competitive procedures in alignment with Public Accounts (PA) 2023 and CCS frameworks to achieve maximum Value for Money (VfM).

  • Operate at a senior portfolio level to define commercial strategy, manage high-risk/high-value contracts, and align complex scope documentation with client requirements.

  • Develop robust strategies to mitigate commercial risks pre- and post-award, with a proven ability to resolve supplier disputes and manage frameworks at pace.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in the Atamis procurement system and strategic commercial acumen.

  • A MCIPS qualification is highly desirable for this senior-level oversight role.
